She Said Beauty are another big player in the beauty box arena. thebeautyobsession was pleased when our November box arrived at the the weekend and it cheered us up on a rather grey day!
Our initial impression of this months box, was that there was slightly more style than substance. Although it contained three full size products which was a nice bonus, and an additional treat, none of them were what we would call “luxury” products. More what you would class as your day-to-day staples instead.
Clockwise from left: So…? For Me Body Spray, £1.99 for 75ml (full size incl.); Redken Smooth Lock Shampoo & Conditioner, £11.85 for 300ml & £13.40 for 250ml (10ml sachets incl.); Murray’s Manicure Matchbook Nail Files £1.99 (full size incl.); Collection Primed & Ready Smoothing Make-Up Primer, £5.99 for 18ml (full size incl.); Yardley Royal English Daisy Eau de Toiliette, £9.99 for 50ml (1ml sample incl.); Weleda Wild Rose Smoothing Night Cream, £14.95 for 30ml (5ml incl.); Makebelieve enhance Luminize Skin Highlighter £7.50 for 2ml (full size incl.)
We’ll definitely be reviewing the Collection Primer and the Makebelieve Highlighter and we’ll give the So…? Body Spray a spritz, but we are a little disappointed with the Redkin Sachets and the size of the Weleda Night Cream. They’re both brands we love, but it’s very hard to tell how effective a product is and whether you want to use it again, if you only get enough to use it once! We love the Murray’s Manicure Nail Files though, never again will we be stuck without a file and a broken nail!
Overall we think the She Said Beauty box is still good value for money at £9 + £2.95 p&p, and is good for showing you some good staples.
Do you get a She Said Beauty box or subscribe to another beauty box? What do you think of this months box? We’d love to hear your opinions.
