Sometimes it really is the little things that you fall in love with most….
Here at thebeautyobsession we like honest, reliable products that are easy to use and actually do what they say on the tin!
This week’s #WeLove goes to a product that does just that – Pretty Quick Instant Nail Polish Remover.
A lot less glamorous than last week’s #WeLove, this product is so obviously simple! The little pot contains a sponge which has a hole in the middle and is soaked in nail varnish remover. All you do is pop your finger in, twist it a couple of times and voilà, bye bye nail polish!
This saves so much time and hassle, no longer do you have to redo all your nails because you’ve chipped one – you don’t get the dreaded sticky cotton wool attaching itself to your nails and you can also pop it in your bag to use on the go.
The pot lasts for ages, but if it does start to dry up, just add a few drops of your usual remover in to revive it!
Buy it from Boots and other stockists from £2.50.

Every now and again, we come across something so gorgeous we just have to shout about it! For today’s #WeLove… we want to shout about the Marc by Marc Jacobs Blade Chronograph Watch in Rose. It might not be a beauty product, but it sure is beautiful!

Oversized boyfriend watches have become an overnight sensation with every watch maker and designer creating their own version. Rose is also becoming an increasingly popular shade for women to wear. No doubt because it is very wearable for most skintones, warmer than silver or white gold and more fashionable and flattering than traditional yellow gold. Adding to the luxe feel, in place of a numbered dial, there are crystals instead, which adds a good bit of sparkle without being tacky.

As well as being a beautiful piece of arm candy, the Blade is also a very practical timepiece, it has chronograph and date features, is made of resistant rose steel, is suitable for shallow water swimming (not that we ever would with this beauty on, but it’s nice to know you can!). We also like the fact that even if you’re not wearing any jewellery, you feel like you’ve made an effort when you put this watch on.

You can purchase our favourite timepiece from John Lewis (£259), Selfridges (£259), The Watch Hut (£259) and other stockists.

Marc Jacobs aren’t the only brand with rose gold making an appearance.

Michael Kors is another brand we love and we have our eyes on the Ritz Chrono Bracelet watch in Tri-colour. We love the sturdy boyfriend style again and the mix of silver, gold and rose plated steel means it will match with even more in our jewellery box!

Purchase from Nordstrom from £182.40, and other stockists.

The DKNY Ladies White Ceramic RoseGold watch is also beautiful, and we like how we could mix it up with a range of other tones and dress it up or down thanks to the ceramic element.

Purchase from Watchshop from £226, and other stockists.

If you’ve got a much smaller budget but still like the trend, Next do a great Rose& Silver combo for a very affordable price of £30.
